FALL TO NONE
|
1.21.12:
- After several months of deliberation, the members of Pain Link have decided to lay the band to rest. This was not an easy decision to make but given the current state of the music industry and various members having other commitments & responsibilities outside of the band, it was collectively deemed necessary to end things at this point and time.
- Pain Link formed in 2002 and released our first disc in 2003. Over the course of the last nine years our band has been fortunate enough to have released four self-produced/self-financed CD’s, played well over 300+ local & regional shows to mobs of crazed metal fans, and shared the stage with dozens of high profile National acts. We have also had the opportunity to play some of the best metal clubs and festivals our region has to offer. The fans and friends we’ve made over the lifetime of our band are some of the best people we’ve ever known. We cherish your support and will always appreciate what you have done for us.
- Pain Link is proud to be one of the very few true thrash metal bands to ever come out of our area and feel privileged to be able to leave behind a legacy of music for future generations to enjoy. As a thank you to everyone that has supported us, we will be releasing all of our recorded material for a limited time as free downloads in the coming weeks. We will also start to release many archived video clips on YouTube over the next several months.
- We would like to conclude this statement by thanking our families, friends, fans, booking agents, promoters, club owners, and all of the bands locally and regionally that have supported us since day one.
